Harnessing the Immune System to Fight Cancer

The concept of ‘teaching’ the immune system to recognize and destroy cancer cells has been around for 100 years. During this time, much has been learned about the immune system and specific immunotherapeutic strategies for cancers are being developed. This 7:31 minute animated video takes an audio-visual journey through the different approaches that are being investigated to harness the immune system to treat cancer.
